Cleaning Carpets and Mattresses

With a walking-baby-who-loves-dogs and a dog-frightened-of-the-walking-baby-who-loves-dogs in the house, cleaning can be such a nightmare. Especially cleaning drools of the baby and the dog and baby-pee.

So, to clean mattresses and carpets, pour a cup or more of baking soda into bowl and 4 to 6 drops of lavender essential / tea tree  oil.

Mix it with a spoon.

Using a strainer, sprinkle soda mixture all over the mattress / carpet.

Let it sit for 2 hours.

Thereafter, thoroughly vacuum the mattress / carpet.

Say goodbye to dust, mites and other nasty things.

Baking soda helps draw up any moisture and deeply embedded dirt. It deodorizes and leaves the mattress smelling fresh and clean.

Oh yes, Zoya is walking already.. One evening, 2 weeks ago, she took 6 steps without support… And since then she has just been on her feet.
